This is from the collection of Ora Ward Manning. Peggy Rockett's mother. OLLIE C. TURNAGE Rayville - Mr. Ollie E. Turnage, 76, of Rayville, died suddenly Friday afternoon in a food store in Rayville. Mr. Turnage was a planter and a deacon of Holly Ridge Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. today at the Holly Ridge Baptist Church with the Rev. M. D. Hill officiating, assisted by the Rev. J. T. Harvey. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe under the direction of Rayville Funeral Service. Survivors include his widow, Orena Turnage; two daughters, Mrs. Grady Roberts of Big Rapids, Mich. And Mrs. Arthur Mills of Bosco; three brothers, Oliver Turnage of Spearsville, Chester Turnage of Monroe, and Murphy Turnage of Whittier, Calif.; six sisters, Mrs. Nellie Lou Phelps Tucker of Famerville, Mrs. Lettie Heard of Minden, Mrs. Lois Rockett of Spearsville, Mrs. Jessie Rockett of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Mrs.Eula Finley of Los Angelos, Calif.; five grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be the deacons of Holly Ridge Baptist Church. # # #
