Jinks Funeral service for James Roy Jinks, 58, of 558 Stephenson St., will be held at 4 p.m. today in the chapel of Osborn Funeral Home with Dr. Scott Tatum, pastor of Broadmoor Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Centuries Memorial Park. Mr. Jinks, operator of the James R. Jinks Insurance Agency, died at 9:55 p.m. Wednesday in Schumpert Hospital after a brief illness. He was a native of Bernice and a member of the Broadmoor Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow; three sons, Jimmy Jinks, of the Republic of Panama, and Jerry Lynn Jinks and Jackson Jinks of Shreveport; a daughter, Mrs. Ronald Aldin of Shreveport; two brothers, Albert Jinks of Shreveport and Charles Jinks of Dallas; and one grandchild. Pallbearers will be James C. Campbell, Virgil W. Teufel, Alvin Rogers, Jackson B. Davis, James F. Durham, and O.L. Jordan. # # #
