This is from the collection of the late Ora Ward Manning, the mother of Peggy Rockett. Mrs. Viola Rockett died in July 1972. Mrs. Viola Rockett Farmerville - Funeral services for Mrs. Viola F. Rockett, 93, of Spearsville, will be at 3 p.m. today in the Spearsville Baptist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. James Miller, assisted by the reverends H. E. Henderson and Billy Smith. Burial will follow in the Spearsville Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick's Funeral Home of Farmerville. Mrs. Rockett died Saturday afternoon in the Tri-Ward Hospital at Bernice after a lengthy illness. She was a housewife and a member of the Spearsville Baptist Church. Survivors include four sons, Elzie Rockett, J.U. "Buck" Rockett, Glover Rockett all of Spearsville, and J.T. Rockett of Famerville; five daughters, Mrs. Kathleen Cain of Austin, Tex., Mrs. Mae Hudson, Mrs. Maurice Sutton, Mrs. Margaret Baker all of Shreveport, and Mrs. Louise Gardner of Spearsville; 23 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren. # # #
