Please note I do not know which newspaper this ran in. This is from the 
collection of the late Ora Ward Manning, the mother of Peggy Rockett. 
Mrs. Mary Tucker died 31 May 1972.

Farmerville - Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. today for Mrs. Mary 
Norris Tucker, 86, of Farmerville, who died Friday night at her residence 
after a long illness. She was lifelong resident of Union Parish.
The Rev. Milton Melder will officiate at Zion Hill Baptist Church, were she 
was a member, with burial in the church cemetery under the direction of 
First National Funeral Home of Farmerville.
Survivors include five sons, Marion Woodrow Tucker, Perry Tucker, both of 
Farmerville, Rudolph Y. Tucker, Wilbur J. Tucker, both of Pineville, and 
Dr. Robert A. Tucker of Shreveport, two daughters, Mrs. Alva T. Elkins, 
of Farmerville, and Sue T. Hickman, of Pineville; 10 grandchildren and 
five great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Henry Tucker, Egbert Norris, Bobby Tucker, Donnie Tucker, 
Boyce Elkins and J.C. Williams, Jr.
The body will be at the funeral home until one hour before services.
