Upshaw Eldorado - Funeral services for Claud Edward Upshaw, 80, of the Cherry Ridge Nursing Home in Bastrop, will be at 10 a.m. today at the Canaan Baptist Church near Lockhart with the Revs. A. W. Sparks, John Mahoney and Cecil Gregory officiating. Burial will be in the Canaan Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of Eldorado. Mr. Upshaw was a retired farmer and a Spearsville native. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Georgia Upshaw, Spearsville; one son, Coy Edward Upshaw, Spearsville; seven daughters, Mrs. Jerd Tucker, Farmerville, Mrs. Elva Upshaw, Spearsville, Mrs. Victor Williams, and Mrs. J.H. Lockwood, both of Bastrop, Mrs. Kenneth R. Everett, Spring Hill, Mrs. Mayo Horne, Mobile, Ala., and Mrs. Mack McCullin, Monroe; three brothers, Lonie Upshaw, Bernice, George Upshaw, Crosset, Ark., Grady Upshaw, Pine Bluff, Ark.; two sisters, Mrs. Hardy Wesson and Mrs. Hary Noble, both of Hamburg, Ark.; 18 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. # # #
