Melvin Ward
Obit dated 29 June 1972
 
H. Melvin Ward, 55 of Farmerville, La., former resident of Kelsey Community 
in Upshur Co., Texas, son of the late Mr & Mrs Henry Oscar Ward , died June 22 
at his residence following a brief illness.
 
Funeral services were June 24 in the chapel of the First National Funeral Home 
of Farmerville with Elder George Love officiating.
 
Burial was in the Rugg Bluff Cemetery , Point.
 
Mr Ward, a veteran of World Ward ll and a member of The Church of Latter - Day Saints.
 
Survivors include two brothers Arleigh Ward of Gilmer, Texas and Darrell Ward of 
Fort Worth, Texas and two sisters Mrs Geneva Aulds of Farmerville and Mrs Elnora Denton 
of Gilmer, Texas.
 
Pallbearers were Lowell Denton, Ronnie Denton, David Ward, Randy Ward, and Bobby Ward.
