I do not know what newspaper this ran in. This if from the collection of the late Ora Ward Manning, mother of Peggy Rockett. J. M. LOCKWOOD Farmerville - Funeral services for J. M. Lockwood, 79, of Farmerville, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the chapel of Farrar Funeral home with the Revs. O.J. Owens and S.R. Lee, Sr. officiating. Burial will be in the Liberty Cemetery near Spearsville. Mr. Lockwood died Thursday at the Longleaf Nursing Home of Ruston after a lengthy illness. He was a native of Union Parish, a member of Liberty Baptist Church and a retired farmer. Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Ollie Lockwood of Farmerville; three sons, J.D. Lockwood of Jackson, Miss., Billy Wayne Lockwood and J.R. Lockwood both of Chandler, Tex.; six daughters, Mrs. Aline Albritton of Downsville, Mrs. Clara Mae Lawlin of Jackson, Miss., Mrs. Leola Shaw of Birmingham, Ala., Mrs. Margie Roach and Mrs. Vivian Pye both of Choudrant, and Mrs. Frances Albritton of Downsville; three brothers, Leo Lockwood of Rayville, Leo Lockwood and West Lockwood both of Spearsville,; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Rockett, Mrs. Eddie Canterberry and Mrs. Freddie Raley both of Farmerville, Mrs. Corine Simmons of Shreveport; 28 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. # # #
