collection of the late Ora Ward Manning, the mother of Peggy Rockett. 
Garland Denham died 25 August 1974.

Bernice - Funeral services for Garland M. Denham, 72, of Bernice, will be at 
3 p.m. today in the Camp Creek Baptist Church near here with the Revs. 
Willie Cotell and Jack Borden officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral 
Home of Eldorado, Ark.

Mr. Denham died early Sunday morning in the Tri-Ward hospital here after a 
lengthy illness.

A retired farmer, Mr. Denham had been a lifelong resident of Bernice, and 
was a member of Camp Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ruby Popwell Denham of Bernice, one 
daughter, Mrs. Gay Colvin of New Orleans; one brother John Denham of 
Spokane, Wash; one sister Mrs. Anna Lou VanDoren of Spokane, Wash; and five 
grandchildren.
