Spearsville - Tatum Manning, 74, of Spearsville died Saturday evening at his 
residence after a long illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Camp Creek Baptist Church near 
Spearsville with the Rev. Avoid LaBeff officiating. Burial will be in the 
church cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville.
Mr. Manning was a retired school bus driver and farmer and a lifelong resident 
of Union Parish.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ora Manning; one son, Wayne Manning of 
Spearsville; two daughters, Mrs. Gwen Carraway of Shreveport, and Peggy 
Rockett of Spearsville; two sisters, Mrs. Oris Custer and Mrs. Pauline 
Hutchison both of Dallas; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
