Services for Darrell L. Ward, 52, of Gilmer were held Monday afternoon Oct 31, at 
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter -  Day Saints in Farmerville , La., 
 
Elders Roy Wayne Bowen and Michael Alan Denton officiated with burial at Ruggs 
Bluff Cemetery in Downsville under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.
 
Pallbearers were Lowell Denton, Raymond Denton, Herman Ward, Ocoho Ward, David Ward, 
Randy Ward, and Kevin Ward.
 
Mr Ward died Sunday Oct 30, at Tyler Medical Center following a fire at his residence 
on Roberts St.
 
Mr Ward was a painter and a resident of Upshur Co.
 
Survivors include one son, Brock Ward of Farmerville and one daughter Mrs Wyvonna 
Phillips of Dallas; pne brother Arleigh Ward of Gilmer,Texas, two sisters, Mrs Elnora 
Denton of Gilmer, Texas and Mrs Geneva Aulds of Farmerville, La., and three grand children.
