Please note I do not know which newspaper this ran in. This is from the 
collection of the late Ora Ward Manning, the mother of Peggy Rockett. 
Mrs. Lillian Roberts died 29 December 1978.

                        Mrs. Lillian Roberts

The funeral of Mrs. Lillian Edwards Roberts, 73, 1716 S. Ninth St., Monroe, 
will b at 2 p.m. today in Camp Creek Baptist Church in Union Parish with the 
Rev. Forrest Post officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home of West Monroe.

Mrs. Roberts died Friday night in Riverside Nursing Home of West Monroe.
Survivors include two sons, Howard Edwards of Monroe and Harold Edwards of 
West Monroe; a step-daughter, Mrs. Anna Faye Smola of Fort Smith, Ark.; a 
brother, Virgil Lockwood of Frisco, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Madie Manning of 
Monroe and Mrs. Ava Gross of Biloxi, Miss; five grandchildren and nine 
great-grandchildren.
