I do not know which newspaper this ran in. This is from the collection of the late Ora Ward Manning, mother of Peggy Rockett. MRS. BETTIE MC DOUGLE Farmerville - Services for Mrs. Bettie McDougle, 75, will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the Revs. Paul Carter and Mickey Bounds officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Hill Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick's Funeral Home of Farmerville. Mrs. McDougle died Wednesday in St. Francis Medical Center after a long illness. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Patty Ramsey of Farmerville, and Mrs. Nelwyn Dean of Bunkie; two sons, Curtis McDougle of Simsboro, and Billy McDougle of Monroe; three brothers, Lavelle Neal of Bossier City, Horace Neal and J.A. Neal both of Farmerville; a half-brother Averette Neal of West Monroe; a half-sister, Mrs. Dollie Searcy of Archibald; 14 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. # # #
