collection of the late Ora Ward Manning, the mother of Peggy Rockett. 
Mrs. Sallie Lou Rockett died 21 May 1981.


				Mrs. Sallie Lou Rockett

Farmerville - Services for Mrs. Sallie Lou Rockett, 77, will be at 2 p.m. 
Saturday at Camp Creek Church near Spearsville with the Revs. Joe Cannon and 
Forrest Post officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral 
Home of Farmerville.
Mrs. Rockett died Thursday at Richland Parish Hospital in Delhi after a 
short illness.
She was a native of Union Parish, a member of Antioch Baptist Church and a 
homemaker.
Survivors include two sons; Doyle Rockett of Spearsville and Norman Rockett 
of Delhi; four daughters, Monell Reed of Farmerville, Elese Compton of West 
Monroe, Saundra Bays of Sibley, and Wima Brazzel of Dubach; two brothers, 
J.W. Post of Spearsville and and Robert Post of Baytown, Texas; two sisters, 
Mrs. Christine Barnette of Monroe, and Mrs. Grace Sills of Brazoria, Texas; 
23 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be until noon Saturday at the funeral home.
