Please note Mrs. Nettie L. Ward died in June of 1981. 
I do not know what newspaper this ran in.

This is from the collection of the late Ora Ward Manning, mother of Peggy Rockett.

MRS. NETTIE L. WARD
                                
Winnfield - Services for Mrs. Nettie L. Ward, 97, will be at 9:30 a.m. today in the chapel of 
Edmonds Funeral Home with Bill Guerenger officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Union Cemetery near Spearsville.
Mrs. Ward died Monday in Winnfield General Hospital after a long illness.
She was a resident of Parkview Nursing Home and a member of Winnfield Baptist Church.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Cleo Penny and Mrs. Marjorie Chalkey both of Houston, 
Mrs. Ione Headrick of Alexandria, Mrs. Bessie Ashcroft of San Antonio, Tex., and Mrs. Olivia 
Lilly of Baker; 14 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
