Please note I do not know what newspaper this ran in. This is from the 
collection of the late Ora Ward Manning, mother of Peggy Rockett. 
Mrs. Laura Mason died in August 1982.

                        Mrs. Laura A. Mason

Spearsville - Services for Mrs. Laura Agnes Mason, 92, will be held Sunday 
at the Beech Grove Baptist Church.
Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home of Ruston.
Mrs. Mason died Friday in the Tri-Ward Hospital in Bernice after a long 
llness.
She was a native of Union County, Ark., and a member of the Primitive 
Baptist Church.
Survivors include five sons, Forest Mason of Spearsville, O'Neal Mason and 
Yvonne Mason, both of Eldorado, Ark., Renyard Mason of Alvin and Max Mason 
of LaPlace; three daughters, Cecile Williams and Mary Beth McKnight, both of 
Eldorado, Agnes Beaird of Spearsville; 28 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren 
and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
