Please note I do not know what newspaper this ran in. This is from the 
collection of the late Ora Ward Manning, mother of Peggy Rockett. 
Mrs. Clara Ward died 22 September 1984.

          Mrs. Clara Ward

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Eastside Baptist Church for 
Mrs. Clara Elizabeth Ward, 70, of 1403 S. 7th St., Monroe, who died Friday 
at St. Francis Hospital after a long illness.
Officiating will the Rev. M.L. Graham assisted by O.L. Owens. Burial will 
be in Liberty Cemetery near Spearsville under the direction of Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home of West Monroe.
Survivors include four sons, Wilburn Ward and Hayward Ward of Monroe, Glenn 
Ward of Baton Rouge, and Ted Ward of New Orleans; 16 grandchildren and four 
great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Eldorado, Ark.; three brothers Marshall McAdams of Monroe, Jack Yosset of 
Eldorado and Rufus Yosset of Minden; seven sisters Mrs. T.B. Johnston, Mrs. 
Sallie Yosset, and Mrs. F.T. Scarborough, all of Monroe, Mrs. C.B. Harris 
of West Monroe, Mrs. W.E. Brown of Midland, Tex., Mrs. H.T. Rhodes of 
Eldorado, and Mrs. Russ Day of Downsville; 16 grandchildren and 
four great-grandchildren.
