collection of the late Ora Ward Manning, mother of Peggy Rockett. 
Mr. Robert Lockwood died 1 November 1987.

         Mr. Robert (Dennis) Lockwood

Services for Mr. Robert Dennis Lockwood, 83, Spearsville, were held at 
2 p.m. Tuesday, November 3, at Liberty Baptist Church near Spearsville with 
Rev. W. A. LaBeff and Rev. Forrest Post officiating.
Interment followed in the church cemetery under the direction of Farrar 
Funeral Home of Farmerville.
Mr. Lockwood died Sunday, November 1, at Union General Hospital in 
Farmerville following a lengthy illness.
He was a lifelong resident of Union Parish, member of Mt. Union Baptist 
Church and a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Chloie B. Lockwood of Spearsville; one son, 
R. V. Lockwood of Plano, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Delores Miller of 
Spearsville, and Mrs. Gynelle Williams of Shreveport; four sisters, Mrs. 
Mary Rockett of Bernice, Mrs. Eddie Canterbury, and Mrs. Freddie Raley, 
both of Farmerville, and Mrs. Corinne Simmons of Bossier City; six 
grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Mr. Lockwood is preceded in death 
by his grandson, Danny Miller.
Pallbearers were Edward E. Lockwood, Charles Lockwood, Hubert Lockwood, 
Travis Lockwood, J.H. Lockwood, and Drue Rockett.
