GUY UPSHAW				
	
Marion - Services for Guy Upshaw, 69, will be at 2 p.m. today at Marion 
Baptist Church with the Revs. Woodson McGuffee and Forrest Post officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Union Cemetery near Spearsville under the direction 
of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville.

Mr. Upshaw died Monday at his residence after a long illness.
He was a member of Marion Baptist Church, a native of Union Parish and a 
commercial fisherman.

Survivors include his wife, Ethel Upshaw of Marion; daughter JoAnn Norton of 
West Monroe; brother Palmer Upshaw of Camden, Ark.; two sisters, Aline 
Sumners of Camden and Marie Elkins of Shreveport; two grandchildren and one 
great grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Hicks, D. B. Gay, Coy Upshaw, Hardy Upshaw, Hughie 
Rhodes, and Devayne Garris.

Visitation will be at the church until time of services today.
