Please note I do not know which newspaper this ran in. This is from the 
collection of the late Ora Ward Manning, the mother of Peggy Rockett. 
Mr. Wesson Ward died 22 June 1990.

                                Mr. Wesson Ward

Services for Mr. Wesson Ward, 80, of Spearsville, were held at 4 p.m. Sunday 
at Mt. Union Baptist Church in Spearsville with the Rev. Forrest Post and 
the Rev. Ezra Murphy officiating.
Interment followed in Mt. Union Cemetery in Spearsville under the direction 
of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville.
Mr. Ward died June 22 at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe after a brief 
illness.
A lifelong resident of Spearsville, he was a member of the Mt. Union Baptist 
Church and a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Margie Ward of Spearsville; son Welby Ward 
of Pearland, Tex.; two sisters Mildred Murphy of Spearsville and Merle 
Lockwood of Farmerville; two grandchildren, Gary and Danielle Ward.
Pallbearers were Buddy Garris, Michale Holly, Tony Mauro, Billy Garris, and 
Truett West.
