Mr. Stanley Hollis

Services for Mr. Stanley Hollis, 75 of Spearsville, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, 
September 20, at Spearsville Baptist Church.
Burial followed in Antioch Cemetery near Spearsville under the direction of Farrar 
Funeral Home of Farmerville.
Mr. Hollis died Thursday, September 19, at Medical Center of South Arkansas in El 
Dorado after a lengthy illness.
He was a lifelong resident of Spearsville, member of Spearsville Baptist Church, 
farm tractor salesman for many years a former owner of Spearsville Wood Corn Company. 
Mr. Hollis, a lover of gospel music, was well known for taping gospel music.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Marcelle Bryan Hollis of Spearsville; three sisters, 
Lois H. Heard of Spearsville, Lottie Tugwell Allen of Farmerville and Jackie H. 
Randerson of Houston and many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Nephews served as pallbearers.
