This is from the collection of Peggy Rockett. Mrs. Patton died in 1991. Mrs. Minnie B. Patton Services for Mrs. Minnie Bea Patton, 66 of Sterlington were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 13, in the Chapel of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville with the Rev. Terry Gainey officiating. Burial followed in Union Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville. Mrs. Patton died Friday, July 12, at St. Francis Medical Center after a lengthy illness. A life long resident of Union Parish, she was a member of Litroe Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Patton, Sr. Survivors include six sons, Warner L. Patton, Jr. of West Monroe, Buddy Patton of Downsville, William A. Patton of Choudrant, Billy E. Patton of West Monroe, Ronnie G. Patton of Lake Charles, and Jerry L. Patton of Sterlington; two daughters, Jeanette Nale of Sterlington, and Linda Faye Hoffpauir of Hayes, La., 19 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Sons served as pallbearers. # # #
