Ben Warren "Rocky" Rockett, Sr. HAUGHTON, LA. - Services for Ben Warren "Rocky" Rockett, Sr., 70, will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 15, 1991 at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Charles A. Davis, Pastor of Red Chute Church of Christ. Burial will be at Camp Creek Cemetery near Spearsville, LA. Mr. Rockett died on Friday, April 12, 1991 at Bossier Medical Center following a short illness. He was born in Spearsville, La. and had resided in Haughton, La. for 24 years. He was a member of Camp Creek Baptist Church, was a retired heavy equipment operator and was a member of International Union of Operating Engineers Local #406. He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Stanford Rockett. He is survived by his wife, Audrey Parmer Rockett of Haughton; his mother, Marv Rockett of Bernice, La.; two sons, Ben Warren "Rocky" Rockett, Jr. of Haynesville, La. and Willie Stanford "Stan" Rockett of Haughton; three daughters, Brenda Howe of San Diego, Calif., Dawn Walistrom of Utah and Rita Johnston of Minden, La.; three step-sons, Leonard Chandler; Wayne Chandler and Michael Chandler; one step-daughter, Judy Kent; 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Pallbearers will be Mr. Rockett's grandsons and nephews. # # #
