Joseph M. Bruner

Services for Mr. Joseph Melvin Bruner, 61 of Castor, were held Monday, November 2, 
in the chapel of Rockett Funeral Home in Ringgold with the Rev. Ben Jordan and the 
Rev. Floyd Pate officiating.
Burial followed in Old Castor Cemetery under the direction of Rockett Funeral Home.
Mr. Bruner died Saturday, October 31.
He was a native of Minden and was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Bruner.
Survivors include his wife, Mabel Bruner of Castor; his mother, Edna R. Bruner of 
Minden; two daughters, Janice Davis of Shreveport and Zelphia Schmidt of Hodge; 
three grandchildren, Wendy and Jason Davis and Joseph George Schmidt; two brothers, 
Charles Bruner of Gladewater, Texas and LeRoy Bruner of Minden; one sister, Frances 
Tucker of Haughton; and a host of nieces and nephews.
