LONNIE GRAY Services for Mr. Lonnie Gray, 83, of Bernice, were held at 2:00 Thursday, February 6, 1992, at Pisgah Baptist Church, near Bernice, with Rev. Steve Rowe and Rev. M. F. Copeland officiating. Burial followed in the Church Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville. Mr. Gray died Tuesday, February 4, 1992, at Lincoln General Hospital in Ruston after a brief illness. He was a lifelong resident of Union Parish, a deacon of Pisgah Baptist Church for 44 years, and was retired from the Louisiana Department of Highways. Mr. Gray was a noted craftsman, having been featured in several Louisiana publications. Survivors include his wife, Mary Mitcham Gray of Bernice; two sons, Gene Gray of Farmerville and Jimmy Wayne Gray of Bernice; a daughter, Maureen DeBruin of El Dorado, AR; a stepson, Paul Mitcham of Spearsville; two stepdaughters, Frances Rich of Ruston and Sondra Burns of Conway, AR; a brother, Marvin Gray of Denham Springs; eighteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren. Pallbearers were David Coles, Robert Coles, Jimmy Gray, Phillip Flurry, Paul Mitchum and Billy Rich. Honorary pallbearers were deacons of Pisgah Baptist Church. Any planned memorials may be made to Pisgah Baptist Church. # # #
