Sally O. Jones

Services for Sallie Odessa Jones, 90 of Spearsville, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, 
July 10, at Young's Chapel in El Dorado with F.C. Bailey officiating.
Interment followed in Antioch Cemetery in Taylortown under the direction of Young's 
Funeral Directors in El Dorado.
Mrs. Jones died Thursday, July 9, in Union General Hospital in Farmerville.
A native of Union Parish she resided in Union Parish and El Dorado for most of her 
life. She was a homemaker and member of the Church of Christ of Lockhart. Mrs. Jones 
was preceded in death by her husbands, Willie Thomas and Leonard Jones.
Survivors include two sons, David A. Thomas and Travis Thomas, both of Spearsville; six
daughters, Helen Ramsey of Spearsville, Christene Campbell, Melba Dumas and Mrs. Charles
"Julie" Harbour, all of El Dorado, Lucille Cottrell of Magnolia, Arkansas and Janell 
Snider of Clayton, Oklahoma; three brothers, John Henry Hollis and Josh Hollis, both of 
West Monroe, and Warner Hollis of Shreveport; two sisters, Lou Hart of Transylvania and 
Mary Browning of Lake Charles; 20 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and eight 
great great grandchildren.
