This is from the collection of the late Ora Ward Manning, the mother of Peggy Rockett. Mrs. Ollie V. Watson Services for Mrs. Ollie V. Watson, 76, of Spearsville, were held at 10:00 Sunday, November 22, 1992, at Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Avoid LaBeff officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery, under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville. Mrs. Watson died Friday, November 20, at Lincoln General Hospital, after a brief illness. She was a lifelong resident of Union Parish, a member of Liberty Baptist Church and a homemaker. Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Watson of West Monroe and Paul Watson of Mineral Springs; a daughter, Shelby Watson of Cotton Valley; a brother, Charles Burden of Cullen, LA; five sisters, Velma Hearon and Ruth Hearon both of Cullen, Novelle Beaird of Spearsville, Lonie Graham and Avon Compton both of Farmerville; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were M.L. Graham, Jr., Elvin Graham, Sherwood Graham, Ricky Watson, Franklin Beaird, and R.V. Lockwood. # # #
