Jack Eubanks Services for Mr. Jack Eubanks, 72, of Farmerville were held at 2:00 p.m., Monday October 11, 1993, at Farmerville United Methodist Church, the Rev. Bob Bowling officiating. Burial followed in the city cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville. Mr. Eubanks died Saturday, October 9, after a brief illness. He was a lifelong resident of Union Parish and a World War II veteran. Mr. Eubanks was active in the Methodist Men, serving twice a president, a member of American Legion Post 149, a member and former president of the Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Lion's Club and the Downsville Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Wanda Eubanks of Farmerville; four sons and daughters-in-law, Korry and Sherry Eubanks, Kyle and Peggy Strancener, all of Farmerville, Kendall and Sherry Strancener of Swartz, and Ahmad and Jill Farahani of Dallas, Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, Kimila and W.D. Gunter of Monroe; three sisters, Georgia Bryan of Rocky Branch, Oleavia Green and Della Albritton, both of Farmerville; five grandsons, two granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Charles Bernard, Gary Bannon, John Earl Albritton, Jay McCallum, Wayne Eubanks, and Dennis Kennedy. Honorary pallbearers were the Famerville United Methodist Church Men's Sunday School Class. # # #
