This is from the collection of Peggy Rockett. Mr. Hamberlin died in 1993. William C. Hamberlin Services for Mr. William Clyde Hamberlin, age 51, of Greenville, Mississippi, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 2, at the First Baptist Church of Greenville with the Rev. Kiely Young officiating. Interment followed in the Greenville City Cemetery under the direction of Mortimer Funeral Home of Greenville. Mr. Hamberlin died Friday, April 30, at Rolling Fork, Mississippi. A native of Spearsville, Mr. Hamberlin graduated from MS State University and was employed as District Soil Conservationist. He was vice-president of the MS Chapter of the Safari Club International, member of Lexington Chapter of Ducks Unlimited and Delta Council, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Greenville. Survivors include his parents, William Henry Hamberlin, Jr. and Gwendolyn Cherry Hamberlin; wife Donna Ruppert Hamberlin of Greenville; two sons, William Laird Hamberlin of Memphis and Mark Ganon Hamberlin of Jackson; one daughter, Linn Hamberlin Nichols of Greenville; two sisters, Martha Thomas of Holly springs, Mississippi, and Carol Ann Lee of Fort Worth, Texas; three grandchildren, Will Hamberlin, of Memphis, Ali Nichols, of Greenville, and Marissa Hamberlin of Jackson, Mississippi. # # #
