This is from the collection of Peggy Rockett. Mr. Grady Henderson Bethany, LA - Services for Mr. Grady Henderson, 75, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 15, 1993 at Mt. Union Baptist Church, Spearsville, La. Officiating will be Rev. R. C. Smith, pastor of New Hope Baptist Church, assisted by Rev. Forrest Post, Mt. Union Baptist Church. Burial will be held in Mt. Union Baptist Church Cemetery, Spearsville, La. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Mr. Henderson died Friday, March 12, 1993 at Highland Hospital after a brief illness. He was born in Lillie, La., was a former resident of Choudrant, La, and was a resident of Bethany, La. Mr. Henderson was a retired carpenter and cottage parent at the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home. He was a Baptist and a deacon at New Hope Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Audie M. Henderson, Bethany, LA.; two sons, Jerry Henderson, Bethany, LA., and Gene Henderson of Shreveport, La.; two brothers, Billy Henderson and Risinger Henderson both of Spearsville; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Flo Barrett. The family suggests memorials may be made to Louisiana Baptist Children's Home. # # #
