                Mildred Hammonds Mitcham

Bernice, LA - Services for Mildred Hammonds Mitcham, 67, of Bernice will be 
Thursday, July 8, 1993, at First Baptist Church of Bernice with Carolyn 
Volentine, William C. Smith, K.D. Kilpatrick, and Lamar Skinner officiating. 
Burial will be in Bernice Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral 
Home, Bernice.
Mrs. Mitcham died Tuesday, July 6, 1993 at Tri-Ward Hospital in Bernice after 
a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Mitcham was a member of Bernice United Methodist Church, Alumni of Beta 
Epsilon Chapter of Sigma Kappa Sorority. Born in Farmerville February 13, 
1926 she graduated from Farmerville High School and attended Louisiana Tech. 
She is preceded in death by her husband Carroll Mitcham, and parents, Jack 
Hammonds and Etta Ramsey Hammonds.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary Mitcham Butler of Bernice; two sons, 
William Caroll Mitcham and Robert Mitcham both of Bernice; four grandchildren, 
Jason Butler, Nicole Butler, and Bart Miller all of Bernice, and Anisa Page 
of Bossier City.
Pallbearers will be David Gaar, Billy Henderson, Tommy Welch, Ronnie Jenkins, 
Richard Jenkins, Clifton McIntosh, Simon Pearson and Brad Terral. Honorary 
pallbearers will be Mike Reed, Louie Jenkins, Chiles Carpenter, David Clinton, 
Thomas Huffman, Donald Lindsay, Ed Ober, and Joe C. "Bo Peep" Smith.
