Services for Mrs. Mary Lockwood, 91, of Spearsville were held at 10:00 a.m. 
Tuesday, September 14, 1993, at Camp Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Charles 
Upshaw officiating.
Burial followed in the church cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral 
Home of Farmerville.
Mrs. Rockett died Sunday, September 12, at Tri-Ward Hospital after a lengthy 
illness. She was a native of Union Parish, member of Camp Creek Baptist 
Church and a retired seamstress. She was preceded in death by her husband, 
Willie Stanford Rockett and a son Ben Warren Rockett, Sr.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Drue and Betty Rockett of 
Spearsville; a daughter-in-law, Audrey Rockett of Haughton; a sister, Eddie 
Canterbery of Farmerville; ten grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and two 
great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were grandsons, Danny Rockett, Stan Rockett, Eric Rockett, Ryan 
Rockett, Lamar Foti, John Wortham and Ben Warren Rockett, Jr.
