This is from the collection of the late Ora Ward Manning, 
mother of Peggy Rockett.  Mrs. Tubbs died Feb 1993.

         Mrs. Chloe N. Tubbs

Services for Mrs. Chloe Nutt Tubbs, 85, of Bernice, were held at 2 p.m. 
Tuesday, February 16, at First Baptist Church in Bernice with the Rev. 
Kenneth Nutt officiating.
Interment followed in Pine Grove Cemetery in Bernice under the direction 
of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Bernice.
Mrs. Tubbs died Monday, February 15, at Pinecrest Manor Nursing Home in 
Bernice after a lengthy illness.
A native of Spearsville, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in 
Bernice.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law Bob and Josie Tubbs
Of Bernice; three daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth and Kenneth DeLyser 
of Carson City, Nevada, Karen and Phillip Miller of Houston, and Mary and 
Erwin Burner of Oklahoma City; one brother Leroy Nutt of Bernice; two sisters 
Margie Harris and Doris Harrison both of Bernice 13 grandchildren, and 11 
great grandchildren.
Any memorials may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home or to the 
Bernice Volunteer Fire Department.
