This is from the collection of Peggy Rockett. Bobby E. Bryan ElDorado, AR - Funeral services for Bobby Edsel Bryan, 57, of 293 Mt. Union Cut-off will at 2 p.m. Monday, October 24, 1994 at Mt. Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Rev. Leroy Jones and the Rev. Billy Smith officiating. Burial will follow will be in Smyrna Cemetery under the direction of Rumph-Owers Funeral Home. Mr. Bryan died Friday, October 21, 1994 at Medical Center of South Arkansas following a brief illness. He was born January 4, 1937 in Spearsville, LA, the son of Joseph Ethridge and Hazel Rockett Bryan. He was a member of Mt. Union Baptist Church, and a measurement specialist for Texas Eastern Pipeline Co. He had also worked for Rock Island Railroad. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Thurkill Bryan of ElDorado; three daughters, Renee Crawford and Cindy Welch both of Eldorado, AR, and Pam Wilson of Junction City, LA; a son Bobby E. Bryan, Jr.; his mother, Hazel Rockett Bryan of Spearsville; two sisters, Betty Gardner of Spearsville, and Ann Barham of West Monroe; a brother, Barry Bryan of Spearsville; and seven grandchildren. Mr. Bryan will be taken to the church one hour prior to the service. The family will be at 293 Mt. Union Cut-off. # # #
