This is from the collection of Peggy Manning Rockett. Tressie O. Bryan Services for Mrs. Tressie O. Bryan, 79, Spearsville, were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Oct 18, 1994 at Spearsville First Baptist Church with Bro. Waymond Warren and Bro. Roy Pitchford officiating. Music was provided by Dusty Burroughs, a special friend. Mrs. Bryan died Monday, October 17, at Union General Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was a life long resident of Union Parish, a member of Crestview Baptist Church, a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a faithful servant of her Savior, Jesus Christ. Survivors include a son, William J. Bryan of Keithville, Louisiana; a daughter, Charlotte West of Farmerville; two brothers, William Ogden of Spearsville and Monroe Ogden of Ruston; three sisters, Olivia Ogden of Bernice, her twin, Ressie Ensenat of New Orleans, and Iva Madden of Bossier City; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Charles Ogden, Wade Upshaw, Benny Thomas, Fred York, Michael Breland, and Barry Bryan. Honorary pallbearer was Bobby Bryan. # # #
