		Mr. Joe R. Brantley, Sr.

Services for Mr. Joe Reece Brantley, Sr., 54, of Marion were held at 10:00 
a.m., Tuesday, January 3, 1995 at Dean Baptist Church in Dean with Rev. Tom 
Tynes and Coy Upshaw officiating. Burial followed in Liberty Hill Cemetery 
under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville.
Mr. Brantley died Saturday, December 31, 1994.
Survivors include his wife Marilyn Brantley of Marion; one daughter, Ladonna 
Dean of Oklahoma; one son, Joe R., Brantley, Jr. of North Carolina; his mother,
Gracie Brantley of Marion; five sisters, Emma J. Desadier of Lake Providence, 
Fronia M. Banner of Kirbyville, Texas, Maude Rogers of Farmerville, Glenda 
Johannesen of Post Arthur, Texas, and Patricia Reid of Brookland, Texas; four 
brother, Lavelle Brantley, Fate Brantley, and Louis Brantley, all of Marion, 
and Carl Brantley of Lake Porvidence; two grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Elzie lee Smitherman, Keith Laster, William "Buck" Brantley, 
Timmy Brantley, Stanley Brantley, Stanley Brantley, and Tadd Alford.
