Henry Henderson Henry Henderson, 84, of Route 1, Box 13, Lillie, LA, died January 6, 1995, at the Tri-Ward Hospital in Bernice, LA, following a short illness. Born October 31, 1910 at Lillie, LA, he the son of Winston and Lulie Nelson Henderson. He was a deacon of the Bethel Baptist Church in Lillie for nearly 50 years. He was retired from Continental Can Company, Woodland Division after 17 years and later became a poultry farmer for several years before retiring in 1984. He was a veteran of World War II where he served with the U.S. Army and he was also a member of the American Legion Post in Junction City. Survivors include his wife, Ethel Bennett Henderson of Spearsville; two sons, Eric and Bruce Henderson, both of Lillie, LA; two brothers, John W. Henderson of Ruston, LA and Forrest Henderson of Rayville, LA; two sisters, Annie Berry Johnston of Bossier City, LA and Melba Steinmeyer of Skidmore, Texas; and three grandchildren. Funeral was Sunday, January 8, at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Baptist church with the Rev. Sardis Bever and Rev. Neil Everett officiating. Burial followed in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home. # # #
