Mr. Pearl Ray Jackson Marion, LA - Services for Mr. Pearl Ray Jackson, 72, of Marion will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, 1995 at Dean Baptist Church with Rev, Coy Upshaw and Rev. Charles Best officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home. Mr. Jackson died Sunday, April 16, 1995 at Glenwood Regional Center after a brief illness. He was a resident of Ouachita Parish for many years before moving to Union Parish five years ago. He was a WWII veteran, a member of the American Legion, a former member of the Civilian Conservation Corps., and a retired inspector with the LA State Dept. of Agriculture. Survivors include his wife, Fay Rockett Jackson of Marion; two sons, James Ray Jackson and Philip Randal Jackson both of West Monroe; a daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Stan Chamblee of Calhoun, three grandchildren, Andrew Chamblee, Jo Danna Chamblee, and Kalan Chamblee all of Calhoun; two brothers, Jimmie D. Jackson of Carrollton, GA, and Terrell Jackson of Collinston, LA; three sister, Janice Mann of San Carlos, CA, Iris Lester of Delhi, LA, and Sara Curtis of Melbourne, FL; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Talmadge Evans, Scottie Aulds, Steve Pace, Robert Riser, Donald Manning, Dennis Schulz, R. L. Lester, Jr. and Gary Lester. # # #
