Mrs. Ora Ward Manning Services for Mrs. Ora Ward Manning, 89, of Spearsville, were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, 1995 at Camp Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Forrest Post and Rev. W. A. LaBeff officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home. Mrs. Manning died Sunday, May 14, 1995 at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was a life long resident of Union Parish where she lived in the same community all of her life and on the family homestead for the past 47 years. She was a member of Camp Creek Baptist church since childhood and was a homemaker. Mrs. Manning was preceded in death by her husband, Tatum Manning. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Joyce Manning of Spearsville; two daughters, Gwen M. Carraway of Shreveport, and Peggy Rockett of Spearsville; six grandchildren, Danny Manning, Ricky Rockett and Kathy McDonald, all of Spearsville, Dawn Manning of Shreveport, Debbie Aycock of Springhill, LA, and Paula Richardson of Robeline, LA, six great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Nora Manning, and Pauline M. Huttchinson, both of Dallas, TX, and F. Tamar Manning of Monroe. Pallbearers were grandsons and great grandsons: Danny Manning, Ronnie Aycock, Brad Aycock, Jess Aycock, Ricky Rockett, Rusty Rockett, Josh Rockett and Joe McDonald. # # #
