Nash Services for Dewey Wayne Nash, age 55, of Spearsville, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 5, at Mt. Union Baptist Church in Spearsville with the Rev. Forrest Post officiating. Interment followed in Mt. Union Cemetery in Spearsville under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville. Mr. Nash died Friday, November 3, 1995, at Tri-Ward Hospital in Bernice after a brief illness. A lifelong resident of Spearsville, he was along time member of Mt. Union Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph C. Nash. Survivors include seven sisters, Muriel Goosen of Pentwater, Mi., Katherine Hall and husband Alton of ElDorado, Marilyn Odom of West Monroe, Celeste Post and husband Forrest of Spearsville, Weltha Guillowry and husband Houston of Anahaur, Texas, Lenora Martin and husband Vernon of West Monroe, Carolyn Taylor and husband Winnon of Shreveport; one brother, Charles Nash, M.D. and wife Patsy of Shreveport; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were nephews of Mr. Nash. # # #
