		Mr. T. A. "Neighbor" Ward

Winnsboro, LA - Services for Mr. T. A. "Neighbor" Ward, 91, of Winnsboro, LA will be held at 
1:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 10, 1996 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel Rev. Marcus Murphy, Rev. Ken 
Ward, and Rev. Vernard Utley officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Union Cemetery under the 
direction of Farrar Funeral Home.
Mr. Ward was retired from the Interstate Natural Gas Co., of Fairbanks, LA where he was employed 
for numerous years. He was a native of Union Parish and a resident of Winnsboro for the past 
several years. Mr. Ward died Friday, September 6, 1996 after a brief illness.
Mr. Ward was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Ward and daughter Shirley Corkern.
Survivors include: 4 sons and daughters-in-law, Kermit D. and Betty Ward of Bangor, Maine, Gayle 
G. and Bernice Ward of New Orleans, LA, Ralph D. and Gail Ward of Delhi, LA, and Ken and Gloria 
Ward of Baton Rouge, LA; one daughter and son-in-law, Gearland and Vernard Utley of Council Grove, 
Kansas; one son-in-law, Finley Corkern of Albuquerque, NM; 15 grandchildren; 20 great 
grandchildren.
