Manning, 83, of Monroe, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 11, 1997 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Lamy Ln. Monroe, LA, with Rev. William Smith officiating. Burial will be in Monroe Memorial Park. She died Friday, January 10, 1997 at St. Francis Medical Center. She was a member of Lakeshore Baptist Church and attended Mrs. Hazel's Little Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her son: Charles Smith; two husbands, Leslie Smith and John G. Manning and daughter, Elaine Smith. Survivors include two sons, Donald R. Smith and Betty, Monroe, Larry E. Manning and Harriett, West Monroe; daughter, Judy M. Battaglia, Monroe; daughter-in-law, Shirely C. Smith, Calhoun; two sisters, Bernice Smith, Indiana, and Alma Kelly, Winfield; seven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Donald Smith, Jr., Danny Smith, Curtis Ramsey, Jeffery Manning, and Lewis Attonberry. Visitation will be Saturday 9:00 a.m. until service time. # # #
