Camille Acree Services for Mrs. Camille Acree, age 77 of West Monroe, were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 23, 1998, at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville with the Rev. James Sanders officiating. Interment followed at Ruggs Bluff Cemetery near Downsville under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville. Mrs. Acree died on Wednesday, May 20, 1998, after a lengthy illness. A native of Union Parish, she was a retired butcher. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Earl "Bill" and, Elsie Acree of Shreveport and Charles and Mary Acree of Calhoun; four daughters and sons-in-law, Jo Ann and Billy Ray Banks of Calhoun, Margie and Jerry Bamberg of West Monroe, Gay and Wesley Southern of Shreveport and Linda and Roger Simpson of Bernice; one sister, Jewel Welch of Houston; 15, grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Pallbearers were Bruce Acree, Troy Acree, Todd Simpson, James Southern, Ray Banks, Paul Johnson and Perry Johnson. # # #
