Nellie "Happy" Allen

Services for Nellie "Happy" Allen, age 84 of Farmerville, were held at 10 a.m. on 
Tuesday, May 26, 1998, at the First Baptist Church of Farmerville with the Rev. David 
Martin officiating.

Interment followed in Farmerville City Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick 
Funeral home of Farmerville.

Mrs. Allen died on Saturday, May 23, 1998, in Farmerville after a lengthy illness.

A member of the First Baptist Church of Farmerville, she also was active in the
 Farmerville Garden Club, W.M.U., Mt. Lebanon Historical Society and as a Pink Lady.

Survivors include her son, Jerry Allen of Houston; daughter, Susan Nicholson of Strong, 
Arkansas; and seven grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Chiles Carpenter, Harvey Hue Emerson, Ray Alexander, Jr., Jerry Rugg 
and Judd Allen.

Memorials may be made to the Youth Center of the First Baptist Church of Farmerville.
