DOYCE LOE BARRON Funeral services for Doyce Loe Barron were held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 27, 1998, at Farrar Funeral Horne Chapel in Farmerville with Dr. James Parker officiating. Interment was held at Friendship Baptist Cemetery in Bienville Parish. Mr. Barron owner an manager of KWJM Radio, died Sunday, January 25, 1998, following, a brief illness. He served from 1941 -1945 with the. U.S. Army in the Pacific Theater. In 1945 he established a hardware and appliance store in Farmerville Louisiana. In 1962 he recieved a license to begin broadcasting. Mr. Barron volunteered his time to serve as president of the D'Arbonne Lake Commission and as president of the Farmerville Housing Authority. Mr. Barron was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Corbitt Barron. Survivors include one son, Dr. James F Barron and wife, Judith, Monroe, LA. one grandson, Dr. Scott M. Barron of New Orleans, one gauddaughter, Andrea Barron of New York City. Nephews served as Pallbears. Honorary pallbearers were Wayne Bevins and Max Hearn. # # #
