Myrtle P. Bayles Services for Myrtle Powell Bayles, age 89 of Rocky Branch, were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 31, 1999, at Providence Baptist Church in Point. Interment was under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. A native of Union Parish, Mrs. Bayles died on January 30 1999, after a courageous struggle for life. She was "loved by so many and will leave an empty space in our hearts and lives". Mrs. Bayles was preceded in death by her husband, Tim Bayles; grandson, Randy Harris; and sons-in-law, Bobby Roberson and Bobby Jack Bayles. Survivors include three daughters, Bette Winn and Sandra Little and her husband Bill, all, of Downsville, and Patsy Roberson of new Orleans; grandchildren, Eric Littleton, Mark Littleton, Andrea Zuber and husband Paul and their son Josh Zuber, all of Downsville; John Robert Roberson and wife Robin and their daughter Kylie, all of Houston; Kevin Bayles and wife Debbie and children Tim, Brandi and Misty, Kim Ellis and husband John and their children Jordan, Griffin and Casey, all of West Monroe; daughter-in-law, Annie Ruth Bayles of West Monroe; two sisters, Cecil Rugg of Monroe and Alice Bayles of Downsville; brother, E.H. Powell; special daughters, Peggy Bradshaw and Ann Smith of West Monroe; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends of the family. Pallbearers were grandsons Eric Littleton, John Robert Roberson, Kevin Bayles, Tim Bayles, Paul Zuber and John Ellis. Honorary pallbearer was Mark Littleton. # # #
