Gertie Mae Bearden

Funeral services for Mrs. Gertie Mae Bearden, 94, of Farmerville were held Thursday, 
December 10, 1998 at Sardis Baptist Church with Bro. Westly Pittman and Bro. David 
Martin officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery under the direction of 
Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville.

Mrs. Bearden, a homemaker,died Tuesday, December 8, 1998 following a lengthy illness. 
She was a member of Sardis Baptist Church and a lifelong resident of Union Parish. She 
was preceded in death by her husband, Con "Slick" Bearden and son G.C. Bearden.

Survivors include her sons, Bobby F. Bearden and wife Neita, Connie Mack Bearden and 
wife Lindy, and Von Bearden and wife Glenda, all of Farmerville; daughters, Audrey 
Brooks of Pine Bluff, AR and Minnie Lee Perry of Odessa, TX; 14 grandchildren; 22 great 
grandchildren; and nine great, great grandchildren.
