Funeral services for Mrs. Melva E. Bledsoe, 83, on Monroe, LA were held at 2PM at Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home Chapel, West Monroe with David Uth officiating. Burial was held in Hasley Cemetery 
under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe.
Mrs. Bledsoe died Friday, October 30, 1998 in West Monroe, La.
Mrs. Bledsoe was a member of First Baptist Church in West Monroe. She retired from E.A. Conway 
as a storeroom supervisor after 25 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband: William Eddie Bledsoe.
Survivors include her son, Roy Bledsoe and his wife Pat of West Monroe, LA; Grandchildren: Eric 
Bledsoe of Winnsboro, LA and Kyle Ann Bledsoe of West Monroe, LA; three sisters-in-law: Evelyn 
Bledsoe of West Monroe, LA, Lorene Walser of Kyle, TX, and Irene Reid of Monroe, LA; and 
several nieces, nephews and other relatives. 
Pallbearers were Jimmy Bowen, Johnny Bowen, Edwin Price, Joe Dean, Art McCallum, and Jay 
McCallum.
