Services for Mary Vinola Harrison Bryant, age 80 of Laran, were held 2 p.m. on Saturday November 
8, 1998 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with the Revs. Wayne Thompson and Jason Herbert officiating.
Interment followed in Laran Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral home of Famerville.
Mrs. Bryant died on Friday, November 6, 1998, at her residence. 
She was life-long resident of Union Parish, member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, James C. Bryant of Laran Community; son Michael Bryant and wife 
Vickie of Famerville; two daughters, Barbara Jester ans husband Bob of Limestone, Tennessee and 
Linda Nale and husband Dan of Truxno; a daughter-in-law, Joyce Bryant of Laran; one sister, 
Audrey Hollis of West Monroe; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchilren.
