April Suzanne Dance Ruston, La. - Services for April Suzanne Dance, 23, of Ruston, LA will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 22, 1998 at Temple Baptist Church with the Rev. Dale Ogden officiating, assisted by Rev. Randy Walton. Burial will be in the Arcadia Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston. Ms. Dance died Tuesday, May 19, 1995 in Shreveport, LA following an accident. Ms. Dance was an honor student at Ruston High School. She was a cheerleader, Bearcat Belle, participated in the presidential classroom, and MASH program. She also won numerous awards in the Regional and State Science Fair while at Ruston High School. Ms. Dance worked in the graduate studies program in the Education Department at Louisiana Tech, The Methodists Children's Home, People's Unlimited and at the Ruston Chamber of Commerce while pursuing her psychology degree at Louisiana Tech. She was a DART volunteer for three years. Survivors include her mother, Pam Dance of Ruston, LA; father James Edward Dance, Jr. of Hot Springs, Ark.; brother Jed Dance of Ruston, LA; grandmothers, Wilma Brazzell of Ruston, and Eloise Dance of Arcadia, LA; aunts, Anita Kelley and husband Kim of Bernice, LA, Sherri Tirpitz of Lafayette, LA, Judy Prine and husband Mark of Hattisburg, MS; and uncles, Jerry Cross and wife Cindy of Shreveport, LA, and Ben Dance of Arcadia, LA; numerous cousins. Pallbearers will be John Smith, Jason Floyd, Ben McFaddin, John Stutzman, Kevin Kavanaugh, and Brian Baldwin. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, 1995. # # #
