MRS. LUCILLE BROOKS

Funeral services for Mrs. Lucille Brooks, 94, of Homer, LA were held Tuseday, November 9, 1999 
at 10 AM at Rose-Neath's Homer Chapel with the Rev. Robert MaGaha officiating and the Rev. 
Bentley L. Masingill assisting. Burial was held at Arlington Cemetery in Homer, LA Under the 
direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Homer. 
Mrs. Brooks died Saturday, November 6,1999.
Mrs. Brooks was a homemaker and a member of the Homer First Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Wes S. Sutton; son Richard Brooks; daughters, 
Rilla Sutton Shuler and Janie Laquinn Sutton; second husband, Jewel E. Brooks; two 
grandchildren, Melissa West-Wedmore and Rapheal Brooks.
She is survived by one son-in-law, Barry Schuler of Red Wing, CO; one daughter-in-law and her 
husband, Minerva and Rollin Cochran of Homer; one sister, Janie Colvin of Stuart, LA; eight 
grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Wayne Perry, Ernest Charles Atkins, Larry Feible, Jimmy Powell, Brad Folker, 
and Rick Brooks.
